Neesha Cooper brings over 10 years of experience in higher education focusing on international student advising, family services, and project management. She has dedicated her career to guiding international students through the university admissions process. She has worked directly inside international admissions serving as an international student recruitment agent for University of Wisconsin-Stout, and IBS Americas; experience that gave her a firsthand look at how universities actually evaluate international applicants. With both a Master's degree in Child Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Family & Human Services, she brings a deep understanding to the students and families she serves.
Over the past 5 years, thousands have benefited from her YouTube channel The Scholarship Specialist, which highlights Universities around the world, and available funding for International Students.
Neesha's approach is guidance built on lived experience, not just theory. As a former international student who studied in the United States and Canada, she knows firsthand how complex the university admissions process can feel from outside the system. Her experience as a graduate teaching assistant and certification in university level teaching from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada provides her with the expertise to help prospective university students tell their story with clarity and confidence.
